What You Need to Make this Smoothie
Don't worry if you can't find fresh, ripe fruit for this recipe! I used mostly frozen fruit, so you can make this smoothie all year around! The ingredients you need are 310 Organic Unflavored, 310 Organic Vanilla, unsweetened almond milk, banana, frozen mango, frozen dragon fruit, chia seeds, and ice!
310 Organic Unflavored
If you typically enjoy the natural fruity flavors of your smoothies, you need 310 Organic Unflavored in your pantry! This way, you can incorporate plant-based proteins and fiber into your day without changing the taste of your drink. It's also formulated with a coconut creamer, which offers a rich and silky texture to your smoothie, and who doesn't want that? Not to mention, it contains a blend of organic superfoods including ginger, beet, turmeric, and more!
310 Organic Vanilla
As you can see, I also add half a scoop of 310 Organic Vanilla to this smoothie. You can omit this and use a full scoop of Organic Unflavored instead, but I like the subtle vanilla bean flavor when I have a major sweet tooth.
310 Organic Vanilla is sugar-free, using Stevia and monk fruit as the sweetener, so it's completely aligned with your health goals! Like all 310 Shakes, this is an easy way and tasty way to incorporate 15g of plant-based proteins into the day that's free of dairy, gluten, soy, nuts, and GMOs!
Recipe Variations
Recipes are just a guide, so don't worry if you don't have all the exact ingredients! Here are some other tasty variations that complement this smoothie if you want to switch it up...
- Coconut milk or coconut water instead of almond milk
- Frozen peaches or pineapple instead of mango
- Frozen cauliflower rice instead of banana to lower carbs
- Hemp or flax seed instead of chia
