Creamy Grapefruit Smoothie Recipe

Grapefruit has a yummy, bright, and tangy flavor that truly doesn’t get enough attention! I know it’s not a popular fruit to add into smoothies, but I love the citrus taste it gives to this Creamy Grapefruit Smoothie. Blended and ready-to-drink in minutes, I can always count on this shake to power my body and mind through a day of busy work or running errands.

Along with grapefruit, this juicy, fruity smoothie offers added sweetness from strawberries and bananas - which also adds additional fiber to help promote fullness while fueling your body.

To provide further nutritional balance, I also included 310 Shake and plain Greek yogurt for a boost of healthy fats and plant-based proteins! These two ingredients also help add a smooth and creamy consistency that is absolutely irresistible!

What You Need to Make this Smoothie

The ingredients needed for this recipe are 310 Organic Unflavored, unsweetened coconut milk, grapefruit, frozen strawberries, frozen banana, plain Greek yogurt, and ice. You can also freeze the grapefruit for more of a “slushee” consistency.

310 Organic Unflavored

The natural sugars in the strawberries and banana offer just the right amount of sweetness, which is why I chose to use a scoop of 310 Organic Unflavored to bring immense nutrition without any extra flavors. Just one scoop of this meal replacement shake adds quality plant-based proteins, nutrients, and indulgent texture, without altering the taste of your smoothie. I love the versatility of 310 Organic Unflavored and use it in a variety of dishes because it helps keep me satisfied for longer!

There are so many amazing qualities to 310 Shakes, but here are a few top reasons why I’m such a huge fan...

  • Free from sugar, soy, dairy, gluten, nuts, and GMOs
  • Can use in coffee, oatmeal, healthy baked goods, and more
  • 5g of dietary fiber per serving
  • Contains organic superfoods including ginger, broccoli, turmeric, and beet

Recipe Variations

You can always experiment with different fruits to find your favorite flavor combo! There are endless ways to make this smoothie and I usually just use the fruits that I have at the time. Take a look at some of these variations that are equally-tasty…

  • Use Organic Vanilla for a sweeter, more dessert-like flavor
  • Orange instead of grapefruit
  • Use a different type of berry
  • Unsweetened coconut yogurt instead of Greek yogurt for a vegan version
  • Almond milk or coconut water instead of coconut milk
