As much as I love bananas, I somehow can never use them in time before they over-ripen! Thankfully, recipes like banana bread, protein pancakes, or even granola bars call for ripe bananas, so your fruit won't go to waste.

You can also peel and freeze your bananas to add into your smoothies for a thick and creamy consistency - which is the easiest way to preserve your produce! This Banana Bread Shake recipe is a delicious and healthy way to use up your frozen bananas and is simple to make for breakfast or as a snack.

Plus, even if finding the time to bake is difficult with a busy schedule, this shake can be blended up in just a few minutes and tastes like banana bread, but with even more nutrition!

There are usually surprising amounts of added sugar in banana bread, so I prefer making this shake instead for a healthier and quicker alternative. In addition to banana, I also use rolled oats and 310 Organic Vanilla to provide the body with soluble fiber and plant-based proteins, which are key components to healthy digestion and satiety.

To make this Banana Bread Shake, you just need 310 Organic Vanilla, frozen banana, rolled oats, unsweetened almond milk, plain Greek yogurt, nutmeg, cinnamon, and ice. These are just the basic ingredients that you need, but I’ll go over some additional ingredients you can use for even more flavor later!

How can you add a dessert-like flavor without added sugars? The answer is with a scoop of 310 Organic Vanilla! This meal replacement shake is made with Stevia and monk fruit for a sweet, vanilla bean taste that can be used in several different ways including in baked goods, oatmeal, and chia seed puddings. My pantry is always stocked with a lot of 310 Shakes because it’s an easy, no fuss way to add extra sustenance and essential nutrients into my day while satisfying my major sweet tooth!

How to Make this Shake

Pour your shake into a glass, garnish with a dash of cinnamon, and enjoy!

Ingredients:

  • 1 scoop 310 Organic Vanilla
  • 1 small frozen banana
  • 2 tbsp rolled oats
  • 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup ice
