Almond Butter Protein Shake Recipe

If your schedule is anything like mine, life is often very busy! And when you have a busy day ahead of you, it’s very important to eat foods that will not only keep you full for longer periods of time, but also give you lasting energy! I always take a protein shake with me when I know I'm going to be out of the house for hours because it’s easy, convenient, and not to mention incredibly tasty!

While there are a ton of ways you can make your protein shakes, this Almond Butter Protein Smoothie is one of my favorites! This is because it tastes like a double chocolate chip cookie, so I can fuel my body with 32g of protein while also satisfying my sweet tooth!

To make this shake, all you need is 310 Chocolate Shake, frozen banana, almond butter, cinnamon, unsweetened oat milk, ice, and 310 Collagen. Just add all of these ingredients into the blender and you can mix and be out the door in under five minutes! It’s faster and FAR healthier than going through the drive-thru at any fast food location. Keep this recipe close by for whenever you need a quick, nutrient-packed meal on-the-go!

Before we dive into the full recipe, let’s go over a few of the potential health benefits this yummy shake has to offer!

Rich Cocoa Flavor: 310 Chocolate Shake

To tackle your desire for all-things-chocolate, a scoop of 310 Chocolate Shake is added to this recipe. Don’t worry, 310 Shakes are solely sweetened with plant-based Stevia, so you can indulge in them without worrying about the negative health effects of eating too much sugar. Who has time for a sugar crash nowadays, anyway, am I right?!

Additionally, 310 Shakes contain vital nutrients that support your total body health. Every serving of 310 Chocolate Shake contains 15g of plant-based proteins (pea, brown rice, and hemp), and 5g of dietary fiber to increase feelings of fullness and support digestive health.

To create a protein powder that also mimics a hearty, well-balanced meal, each serving also contains 20 essential vitamins and minerals, probiotics, and organic superfoods to support overall wellness and vitality.

Healthy Fats & Fiber: Almond Butter

The next ingredient to highlight in this recipe is of course, almond butter! This nut butter is great for adding major flavor and texture to any protein smoothie. The almond butter incorporated in this recipe with 310 Chocolate makes the shake taste like chocolate-covered almonds! And who doesn’t enjoy them?

Plus, along with tasting simply delicious, almond butter is full of essential micro and macronutrients to energize both your body and mind. It’s an incredible source of plant-based protein, fiber, and healthy fats to satisfy your appetite, and nourish your body.

Essential Daily Protein: 310 Collagen

Finally, the last ingredient I’m going to talk about in-depth is collagen! You’ve probably heard of this essential, impressive protein by now, since it’s a hot topic in the health world. Collagen is the most abundant protein in your body, and provides the building blocks for your skin, bones, joints, hair, nails, and more.

In general, protein is made up of amino acids, and while the body can produce some amino acids, other types can only be obtained through the diet! And, as you age, your body slows down in producing collagen, so it’s important to help replenish it… which is where collagen powder comes in handy. With no taste and 11g of protein per serving, you can easily add a scoop to your coffee or shake recipes, to increase your daily collagen and overall protein intake!

Quick Note On Oat Milk…

Bonus ingredient! Did you know that oat milk typically contains more fiber and protein compared to other dairy alternatives? It's also super creamy and has a mild flavor, so it’s a great ingredient to have on hand for all of your healthy smoothies!
