Spinach Flax Smoothie Recipe
To me, a balanced smoothie needs to not only taste amazing, but have a blend of essential nutrients including fiber, healthy fats, protein, and vitamins and minerals. While store-bought smoothies may be convenient, they’re often full of added sugars, preservatives, and additives, so I always prefer making my own, so I know exactly what I’m putting into my body! This Spinach Flax Smoothie is a deliciously-creamy treat that checks off all the boxes and is made with whole, nutritious ingredients!
With superfoods like spinach, flaxseed, and avocado, this smoothie is loaded with healthy fats and fiber for the ultimate meal, post-workout shake, or even a snack. Eating whole foods always helps boost my energy levels and helps me combat brain fog in the afternoon. Rather than reaching for sugary snacks or coffee, this smoothie satisfies my sweet tooth while uplifting my mood!
