Chocolate Coconut Shake Recipe

If you get excited over anything and everything coconut, you’re in for a special treat...

This Chocolate Coconut Shake is inspired by the popular Almond Joy candy bar. And while you could still enjoy the classic candy bar occasionally, this shake will satisfy your sweet tooth and cravings for both chocolate and coconut, without all the added sugars, artificial flavorings, and preservatives found in the popular candy!

Without all of these unnecessary additives, you know exactly what clean ingredients are going into your body to help you feel your best. Plus, you can prepare this smoothie recipe in under five minutes, so you can nourish your body even on the busiest of days!

This shake is made with just five ingredients including 310 Chocolate, banana, unsweetened coconut flakes, cashew butter, and unsweetened coconut milk! It’s super-simple to make, while packing a powerful punch in dessert-like, scrumptious flavor! Not to mention, it has 20g of protein along with 17g of nutritious fats, so you can provide your body with energizing, satiating nutrients, while giving your taste buds a delicious treat.

Before we get into the full recipe, let’s look at some of the health-boosting ingredients in this shake!

Rich, Cocoa Flavor In Every Sip: 310 Chocolate

Rather than using chocolate syrup or chocolate chips for that rich cocoa flavor, I used a scoop of 310 Chocolate Shake in this recipe!

100% vegan organic creamy Meal Replacement Shake with 15 grams of plant-based protein along with essential superfoods and nutrients to support your weight-loss goals and journey to a healthy lifestyle. View Shake »

Sweetened with plant-based Stevia and real cocoa powder, this yummy meal replacement shake has immense chocolaty flavor, while being completely sugar-free! And if you thought that was impressive, 310 Shakes are also jam-packed with well-balanced nutrients that provide your body with the right fuel it needs to function optimally. Not to mention, they’re also non-GMO and free from nuts, soy, gluten, and dairy, to suit a variety of dietary needs.

If you’re like me and easily get tired of eating the same type of protein every day, switch out your morning eggs, (or afternoon salad with chicken), for a 310 Shake! They contain an impressive blend of plant-based proteins to help keep you full, while supporting optimal digestion with a whopping 5g of dietary fiber per serving.

Additionally, 310 Shakes also contain 20 essential vitamins and minerals, healthy bacteria or “probiotics” for gut health, and even superfood greens to further support your overall wellbeing and weight loss goals.

Sweet & Tropical Taste: Coconut Flakes

The next ingredient in this smoothie recipe just might be the reason you clicked on it in the first place…coconut flakes!

Unsweetened coconut flakes are perfect for this shake because they already have a natural, nutty sweetness. Plus, combined with the Stevia in 310 Chocolate, you won’t be missing out on the sugar at all, promise! Along with having major flavor, coconut flakes are an amazing source of fiber that help satisfy your appetite along with your taste buds, and keep you feeling full for longer.

Want even more coconut flavor?! Don’t worry, I got you! This shake is blended with coconut milk for even more coco-nutty goodness, which also contains potassium, magnesium, and iron for additional health-supporting minerals.

Indulgent, Smooth Healthy Fat: Cashew Butter

The last ingredient I want to highlight is one of my ultimate favorites when it comes to these dessert-like shakes… cashew butter

Cashew butter is mild in flavor but provides such a creamy, irresistible flavor that pairs extremely well with coconut. Additionally, cashew butter is a source of healthy fats, and it’s also a great way to boost your protein intake so you can feel energized and satiated for hours after finishing your protein smoothie!
