Pass on the sugar-laden, ultra-processed hot chocolate mixes and grab four simple, whole food ingredients to create this incredible Keto-Friendly Gingerbread Hot Chocolate! It's packed with flavor and nutrition and is super simple to make!
Hot Shake: Keto Gingerbread Hot Chocolate
There’s nothing wrong with enjoying a quick hot chocolate mix occasionally, but I prefer to make my own to limit the artificial flavors and preservatives that are in my drink. This Keto Gingerbread Hot Chocolate takes just minutes to make and is totally worth the few extra steps, I promise! On top of being keto-friendly, it’s also completely vegan for a yummy drink that will fit into an array of different lifestyles.
When you think of a typical hot chocolate, nutritious is probably not the first adjective you would use to describe a sweet beverage, but this is not your average cocoa! This hot shake contains 20g of plant-based proteins and 16g of healthy fats from 310 Shake and almond butter -offering a variety of nutrients to fuel your body and help keep you full. Whether you’re looking for a quick breakfast, sweet snack, or tasty dessert, this shake can do it all while supporting your health and wellness goals.
What You Will Need to Make this Shake
As mentioned, this recipe only has four ingredients. All you need is 310 Organic Gingerbread, unsweetened coconut, almond butter, and cacao powder. That’s it!
310 Organic Gingerbread
I typically use 310 Organic Chocolate for my hot chocolates, but I wanted to switch it up and use 310 Organic Gingerbread for a spiced flavor that’s extra comforting on a cold day. Rather than using sugary syrups and artificial flavors, this shake is naturally sweetened with Stevia and monk fruit, for a dessert-like treat you can have daily. It’s also full of plant-based proteins and fiber to help you easily incorporate more quality nutrition into your day. I love having 310 Organic Gingerbread in my pantry not only for its unique flavor, but for the following reasons as well…
- Vegan, keto, and paleo-friendly
- Sugar, dairy, soy, gluten, GMO, and nut-free
- 15g of protein from pumpkin, brown rice, and pea
- Contains organic superfoods including broccoli, kale, spinach, turmeric, and more
