Vanilla Oat Milk Latte Shake Recipe

My go-to drink at any coffee shop is always an iced vanilla latte with oat milk... and I admit, I used to grab a cup at least four times a week! After seeing how much money I was spending per month on just coffee alone, I decided to try making my own vanilla oat milk latte, but with a healthy twist! 

It took a few tries for me to get it right, but this tasty Vanilla Oat Milk Latte Shake has now become a part of my morning routine! This shake can be enjoyed as your morning coffee, a filling breakfast, or even an afternoon pick-me-up to get you through the day!

What You Will Need to Make this Shake

All you need to make this delicious shake is six ingredients: 310 Vanilla, chilled coffee, oat milk ice cubes, frozen banana, vanilla extract, and almond butter. It’s simple to make and takes under five minutes to put it all together, which is way quicker than going to a local coffee shop or even cooking breakfast! Not to mention, there aren't any artificial flavorings or added sugars that tend to be included in typical vanilla lattes.

My secret to achieving a sweet vanilla bean taste in this shake without adding flavored syrups is 310 Vanilla. This well-balanced meal replacement shake is incredibly versatile and works well with fruity smoothies as well as more dessert-type shakes, like this Vanilla Oat Milk Latte Shake!

If you’re looking to change up the flavors in this recipe, swapping out 310 Vanilla for a different 310 Shake is a great way to do so! Here are some variations I’ve tried that are also super-tasty!

Alternative Ingredients

Aside from switching up your 310 Shake flavor, here are some additional ways you can adjust the recipe to suit your own personal taste. The possibilities are truly endless, but these tips should help spark some inspiration!

  • 1-2 shots of espresso instead of coffee: For more bold coffee flavor and a stronger kick of caffeine 
  • 310 Collagen: Provides an extra boost of protein (11g per scoop!)
  • Leave out banana: For a true coffee beverage rather than a shake/frappe consistency. This will also lower the carb count if you're looking for a low-carb recipe
  • 310 MCT oil: In place of almond butter for a thinner drink

How to Make the Shake

It’s finally time to make this shake! First, pour a cup of oat milk into an ice cube tray and allow the cubes to freeze overnight. You may not need the full cup, but I always like having extra just in case I want more volume in my shake.

Once you have your frozen oat milk cubes, add them into a blender along with the remaining ingredients and blend on high until you reach a smooth and creamy consistency. Pour your shake into a glass or your favorite shaker cup and add a dash of cinnamon to top it off if you'd like!

Vanilla Oat Milk Latte Shake

Prep time: 3 minutes

Blend time: 1 minute

Total time: 4 minutes

Serves 1

Ingredients:

  • 1 scoop 310 Vanilla
  • 1 cup brewed coffee, chilled
  • 1/2-1 cup oat milk, frozen into ice cubes
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp almond butter

Directions:

  1. Combine ingredients in a blender and blend until completely smooth.
  2. Serve and enjoy!

Nutrition:

  • 370 calories
  • 47g carbs
  • 37g net carbs
  • 12g fat
  • 22g protein
