Collagen Infused Mango Pineapple Slushie Mocktail Monday w/ Rebecca
By Jonathan Saldivar
Transcript
Hey, guys. What's up! my name is Rebecca and I'm here at 310 nutrition.
Today is once again, Mocktail Monday. And, for today's Mocktail Monday we are going to be making a drink that was inspired by one of my recent stops to the gas station on another super hot day in LA.
And that is going to be a collagen infused mango pineapple slushie. So, before we just jumped into things in my previous videos I talked a little bit about you know, what's the deal with mocktails.
Why have I started making them. And the bottom line is that although seemingly benign, most drinks that you would buy, I know soda is one that's like a pretty common culprit that we're all aware of. But a lot of drinks that you buy in stores are super high in calories as well as in sugars and therefore if you're trying to reach certain fitness, health, wellness weight goals. What you're consuming in beverages can actually hinder you from reaching those goals.
So, mocktails are essentially spin, healthy spins on some of your favorite caloric and sugary drinks so that you don't necessarily have to give up enjoying a sparkling drink or fruity drink. But that you are aware that there are some alternatives that you can still enjoy that will help you reach X, Y, and Z goals.
So, I like to give you guys some research and some info, and again I'm not a nutritionist nor am I a pro memorizer.
So, when I do present any type of numbers or research I actually choose to read them to you because I don't wanna turn or accidentally turn facts into fiction by tripping up on my words or saying the wrong numbers.
So, I had actually created some cool infographics. I'm a are a very visual learner. So I decided to take a different approach to today's live with some visuals but unfortunately, I'm on my way to print them. The protests in LA, I live in Hollywood are super intense. Which I'm all for by the way, I'm immunocompromised so it's a little tough for me to be out there. I tend to watch them afar or picking an empty street corner.
Definitely, do my honking when I'm driving by. But I couldn't get to FedEx today cause that printer over there whatever ink I put in it, it hates.
So, anyways the infographics for today, I'm sorry they aren't here. Next week you can count on them. But that being said, since I am gonna be presenting some research and some numbers. I'm gonna pull up my computer cause again, we're not gonna turn facts into fiction here .
But, what we're about to talk to you guys is just some info on sugary caloric drinks that I think would be useful or insightful as to why mocktails are a great alternative that you could incorporate into your daily routine that would help you reach whatever your goals are.
If they're fitness if they're weight or just an overall health-related. Or maybe you just want to make some healthy swaps.
So, let's start with that.
Alright, so, Okay. I think I talked about this specific statistic last week but I found it really important and I sort of elaborated in it on for this week.
General Dietary Guidelines
So, we're gonna just dive in. So, the 2015-2020 dietary guidelines for Americans recommend that added sugars make up no more than 10 percent of your daily calories.
So for a 2000 calorie diet which is another recommendation. That's about 12 tablespoons of sugar per day.
So, okay, remember, that's dietary guidelines for Americans. The next statistics is from the American Heart Association and they actually recommend even less sugar per day.
For men, the maximum amount of added sugars and that they should have in a day is 150 calories worth which is 9 teaspoons. For women, it’s a 100 calories per day and that's 6 teaspoons.
And just so put in their perspective a little bit again if you’ve watched my videos you know like I love coca cola. So, one 12 ounce can of coke contains about 10 tablespoons of sugar. So, simply put like one sugary drink a day can put you over the recommended level like easily.
That, aside from sodas, I think you all kind of grown up with the idea that they are bad for you for a variety of reasons. Other drinks that are notoriously high in sugars like iced teas, fruit juices that you buy at the market, vitamin water, and even sometimes can kombucha.
So, it's not just a soda exclusive. Sodas aren't exclusively sugary drink out there. So, continuing with some research and some facts.
Research shows that frequently drinking sugar sweetened beverages is associated with an increased risk of obesity and weight gain as well as the development of high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, chronic inflammation and increase risk of certain forms of cancer.
And just to continue to really drive this point home here's some more statistics.
So, half of adults probably included me although I wished it didn't with this mocktails, I'm really trying to work on it. But, half of adults have at least one sugary beverage each day. And about 20 percent have two or more.
Adults who drink one sugary beverage, just one per day are twenty seven percent more likely to be overweight or obese than non-drinkers. If you replace a 12 ounce can of coke with water every day you'd save about over 52,000 calories per year which equates to 15 pounds in 1 year.
So, a Harvard-led study in the journal circulation found that people who drink 2 or more sugar-sweetened beverages have a 31 percent higher risk of early death from cardiovascular disease.
Each additional, so one more than just once of one, if you have 2 or 3, each additional sodas, sports drink or sugary beverage increase the risk by full 10 percent.
Another study, just published in 2015, in the journey, in another journal found that swapping out one sugary drink a day, for just plain black coffee, plain tea or water reduces the risk of type 2 diabetes by as much as 20 percent.
So, simply put, cutting down on or removing sugary beverages from your diet can benefit your health big time. Doesn't matter where you are at in your health journey, your weight journey, your diet journey, sugary drinks are something that you should be being extremely mindful of because it goes without saying or rather with saying that they're dangerous to your health.
But, that being said, because of mocktails, like the one I'm gonna share you today. or other mocktails that I presented on Mocktail Monday. You don't really have to give up on yummy drinks entirely.
You're not gonna be confined to just drinking water if you decide to forego super sugary drinks or you know, your favorite soda or Starbucks coffee.
There's plenty of healthy swaps out there that you can use to recreate some of your favorite drinks with significantly less calories, sugar, and the addition of other healthy ingredients.
So, before I introduce to you the ingredients for today's recipe and tell you why I'm using 310 products. Why I love using 310 products as a whole. And for a lot of my mocktails. Let me just tell you a little about, a little bit about this Slurpee that I scooped up from 7-11 or whatever the gas station the other day.
So, the sugar content and caloric content of Slurpees, I know, we're making a slushie today. Same same but different in my head. But, the caloric and sugar content of a slushie, Slurpee definitely varies depending on what flavor you get. I'm a blue raspberry fanatic.
But, anyways, an 8 ounce of Slurpee will run it out 70 calories with 17 grams of sugar plus all those like a fruit flavor. It has actually zero nutritional value whatsoever. Cause it's not even made with real fruit.
And, if I'm gonna be entirely honest, I forget what size I got but it was definitely was not 8 ounces. Because if I'm going in for one of those drinks, I want to pick one.
So, it was probably in 16 to 20-ounce range, I don't know, just like the middle cup, you know. If you know what I'm talking about your Slurpee. A Slurpee lover you know where I’m at.
So, but the collagen infused pineapple mango slushie that we're gonna be making today not only contains way less sugar like next to none is significantly less in calories. But it also has added nutrition and collagen and protein.
Ingredient Benefits & Analysis
So, this is really a healthy spin on sort of I retain my opinion like an American summer staple. And, yeah, let's get started with the ingredients for today's Mocktail. I'm gonna push my computer aside cause the, it's no longer needed.
So, we're gonna start with one stick of 310 lemonade. Like I said to the flavor today we’re gonna be doing a mango pineapple. So, we're gonna be using that pineapple mango 310 lemonade.
And we're gonna need 1 scoop of the collagen and then a little bit of water and a ton of ice. You're more than welcome to use fresh or cut up fruit in your mocktail recipe. If you'd like a little bit of added like texture or flavor but to be entirely honest like 310 lemonade is so flavorful that you don't really need to.
It's totally your prerogative. I would try it with just as you can see if you need to add the fruit. At the end of the day like, yes, fruit is added sugar but it's not fake added sugar.
So, yes it will add calories and yes it will add sugar but not quite in the same way that it would if you're adding let's say or you were like drinking a regular coke. Having sugar from fresh or real fruit or frozen fruit is acceptable.
But my goal is to show you guys that you can really make like a slushie extra, extra low cal. No problem.
Okay. So, now that I have given you guys the ingredients. I wanna talk a little bit more about why the 310 products over any of their products on the market.
So, what am I gonna do is I'm gonna grab my camera somehow you could see the ingredients. So, bear with me while I do the camera maneuvering. So, hold up one sec.
Alright, hey guys. Thanks for bearing with me while I moved around the camera so you could see today's mock visual to make up for the printing that never happened.
So, alright, why do I love 310 lemonade for my mocktail recipes. Well, for starters it's only 10 calories. Contains no artificial colors or sweeteners and contains alkalizing minerals.
So, there is a lot of thought that when then body is too acidic meaning that the PH is off, it can bring break some havoc on your overall health and impact your weight loss goals.
So, the solution is to follow a more alkaline diet which means consuming foods that are alkaline and promote a more balance PH.
So, 310 lemonade can assist with that process. So, another key ingredient in 310 lemonade is green select phytozome which is a potent green tea extract that contains a high concentration of EGCG which is a powerful anti-oxidant.
Studies show that EGCG may help metabolize fat, fatty acids in the body which helps breaks down fat and increase the metabolism to burn more calories. More calories burned equals more weight loss.
In fact, there are studies that show that green select phytozome can potentially help you lose three times more weight when combined with the calorie reduced diet than one following a low calorie diet alone.
Not to mention, it is so delicious and very, very tasty. You would be completely surprise to know that it doesn't contain any artificial sweeteners. It's just that good.
And, it also comes in a variety of different flavors. There's original lemonade, berry, peach, pineapple, mango. And forgive me if I'm forgetting any but, yeah. super tasty.
Alright, so now you're probably wondering like what the deal with the collagen. Well, let me grab the collagen. Oh, you got a little peek of my next stuff, on my next visual.
Alright. How am I gonna make this fit? We gotta get this out in here. Alright, can you guys see? Okay.
Alright, so. Collagen is a protein in your body that accounts for one third of actually all of the protein in your body.
It's a key component in your connective tissues and you kind of think of it as like the glue that holds everything together. It supports your body tissues and it's a link to your organs. yeah, but aside from that, it's also one of the major building blocks of your bones, skin, muscle, tendons, ligaments, even the gut lining, your blood vessels and, your teeth, believe it or not. And there's more to add to that list.
Since collagen plays a big part in some of your body system. It's vital to get up the overall function of your body as well as overall health. And, as a whole, as you age, your body actually starts producing less collagen which can cause wrinkles to form and joint cartilage to weaken.
So, supplementing with collagen has several science backed benefits. And some of its potential health benefits include improve skin health, joint pain relief, bone mass prevention, increase muscle mass and, optimal digestion.
So, while I supplement with collagen actively cause I actually have a genetic disorder where are my body doesn't produce collagen quite the same way normal body would.
I love collagen power because it's oops. I'm kinda skipping forward but, I love the collagen powder because collagen pills are so huge and super annoying to consume. You have to eat like 6 to 7 to 8 of them a day, so collagen powder is a really easy way to get your fill of collagen.
But that was the perfect actual transition for into my little chat about why 310 collagen over any other collagen on the market.
So, for starters, it contains like 43 calories which is less than any similar product on the market. It has 11 grams of protein AKA this collagen has an added punch which means therefore that are slushie that we're about to make is going to have protein in it which is a great addition in my own opinion.
It's hydrolyzed so it's easily absorbed by the body. It's gluten-free, GMO-free, additive-free and it's totally tasteless. So you can actually add this to a bunch of different recipes like I swear to God, soups, cookies, baking is probably the best thing to add it to.
But don't be shy with your experimentation. It can go into a lot of things. And as I can just touch up before it's super easy to take, unlike pills which are absolute horse pills and a hassle.
So, now that you're familiar with the ingredients, we're gonna jump into making today's collagen-infused pineapple mango slushie. You guys try to say that it's a mouthful. And I think you guys will be particularly surprised as to just how easy and delicious it is.
So, here's our ingredients for today.
Have a little bit of ice and let's get started.
Alright, Awesome. So, now that I’ve cleared you in on why 310 products are so fabulous for today's mocktail. We can get started with making the mocktail itself.
So, I have lemonade ready right here, just like I said, you can add or subtract fruit depending on your personal preference. I would say just to start with one stick.
If you want to add like another cup later. If you’re someone that's craving flavor because like, you know, I just mentioned the calories are so low. Adding a half of the stick do your thing. Whatever, whatever make this the most enjoyable mocktail for you is the way to go.
So, first and foremost, I'm just gonna take my stick of 310 lemonade and pour it in here.
Boom. Then, I'm gonna go ahead and do a one scoop of the 310 collagen.
Tada! And, I'm gonna step out of the frame for a sec and grab a little bit of water. You don't need all of that much, just you know about to hear the ice is really give you the consistency. Overall, when it comes to the ice, I would like 2 to 2 and half cups is alike a good place to start.
But, it's all about how what your ice makers like. I kind of notice that like from a my place to my moms, if I'm making something like her ice is really dense, mine is a little more melted.
So, just be mindful that like you're gonna have to play with a little to figure out the texture So, excuse me while I add a little of water and grab some ice.
Okay. So. Here, so we got right now. I probably undershot the two and a half cups. So, let me grab more a handful.
So, now that it's all set you're gonna wanna blend and pardon the noise but I've sometimes I do it on the pulse feature. Just so I can watch the consistency again. Ice can be a little variable depending on your ice machine.
So loud, I'm so sorry.
And if it's stuck which is totally normal. Unfortunately, my boyfriend drops my very expensive blender. It wasn’t a vitamix but yeah, that was a huge loss. So, I'm still getting used to like a blender that has a little bit of a struggle. Chopping up ice which most blenders do.
I was blessed with like a really great birthday gift from my mom. 5 years ago. So, excuse me again as I exit the frame to get a spoon to move this around of it.
So, the best way to probably do this. This is just kind of about to dislodge it. Sometimes, this also may mean that you may not have added enough water. It's just probably the case over there.
Yeah, let me get more water. If you've turned in to my other Mocktail Monday's you know that like the blender part usually goes really, really smoothly but that's because I'm using my mom's blender.
So, pardon one last time, I swear.
Okay, more water, ice has been moved around a little bit. Cool.
Tap back on securely. I've learned that the hard way and we're gonna go back to the wretched noise.
Okay, okay. I progress on perfection. And it's coming along. I brought them extra water. I think that will do the trick. Okay, okay.
Alright, I'm liking what I see.
Also, any of you you've been there where you forget to like put the blender top on or this thing on. Holy moly. I have had that happened and I was definitely like a kid and looking over the blender and I will never forget just the spray and the sheer horror of my mother.
But yes, always remember to secure the weather cap. Okay. let's give it a go.
Poor noise. here it comes.
Again, like I said, it's really not a fine science. You just have to play around a little bit. Yes, it's definitely an easy recipe but, okay. Honestly, not that I'm taking a good look at this.
Opps. This is a really good consistency. It's a little bit thicker than a slushie so, you may wanna like grab a spoon with your straw but I'm liking what I see.
Okay. So, we're gonna go with this right now. Because I don’t want to leave you guys can hanging anymore.
So, here's my cup. I'm gonna bring it over here so I don't have a spillage accident. And I totally had spillage accident anyways.
Okay. Today is officially the first, the messiest Mocktail Monday in the history of Mocktail Mondays. But. it has actually turned out really well. This why I wanna, to be honest one of my favorite consistency is.
So, promise I won't leave in the frame again but I lied. Gotta get a paper towel.
Alright, alright. We're cleaning up. Things are shaping up. Alright, I will deal with the rest of the mess that I made later.
So, here is our collagen infused pineapple mango slushie made with only 310 products and a little bit of ice.
So, cheers to you guys. Cheers to me and the chef. Just kidding.
And, yeah, let me give it a sip.
Really delicious. Like I mention before if you want it sweeter to me, it's just like the perfect amount of sweet. You can add another half of the packet. That's definitely plenty for sweetness of the 310 lemonade.
Or, you can try adding fresh fruit like a mango or pineapple. Frozen works too. But, yeah, what I really wanted to emphasize is that you don't need anything other than the products featured here to make a really delicious drink.
So, with that said, since I've been doing these videos for the past few weeks. This Mocktail Mondays, I had told some of my friends about them and they were kind enough to tune in.
And, for the most part, all of my friends are pretty nutrition-focused, fitness oriented and well versed in calories and sugar stuff, and workouts and this and that.
But, nonetheless, I said, you know, you guys like, what am I missing talking about. Like, if you didn't know what you already know or maybe you just still don't know. Like, what would you like to learn from these videos?
And, from their feedback, I already had a few things down to create like a little bit of a back and forth faux discussion section between us so that I could address some of the potential concerns or questions or just lingering wonders that you might have regarding mocktails and sugary drinks.
So, I'm gonna pull my laptop in here again and we're gonna talk about that aspect of things.
So, I know I gave you at the beginning a lot of insight into sugary drinks and research and some statistics and science. But, what my friends kind of ask was well, like action steps.
Like, what can I do to reduce my sugar consumption not necessarily even just like through drinks but like you know, what can I do to reduce my sugar consumption.
Like, tell me, you know, other than the mocktails like that you've been making in this great recipes. Like, give me actional walk steps. So, here's what I came up with that I'm gonna share with you guys.
So, first and foremost, going cold turkey on sugary drinks can be really, really difficult. There's some science that I maybe I'm saving for another video but there's a lot of science about sugar being actually addictive and activating some of your neural pathways for, I'm blanking on it.
It's not satisfaction but it triggers like kind of a high, the sugar high they're talking about. And it's akin to an addiction. So, breaking a sugar habit if you're an avid soda drinker. If you're a cookie fanatic. If you just downright loves sweet just like I do. It's more than just saying no, I'm not gonna have that.
You're brain is actually addicted to sugar and it's hard. So going cold turkey isn't always possible and that's totally okay. I think one of the things people when they're making dietary changes again, like I'm a fitness background to my dietary changes that I've always based in sort of one you'd want to achieve a certain physique with the overall goal of being a really healthy.
But I think of why people get hang up on the like bull, I messed up. I like, I had a soda or I couldn't let that go out of my diet. Like, that's okay. It's a process. You're learning. You're changing old habits and habits are really, really hard to break.
So, just going back to what I was beginning to say is going cold turkey can be super hard. Therefore, I’ve come up with a few tips for cutting back on sugary drinks that I wanna share with you guys.
So, first and foremost, adopt the mindset that sugary drinks are an occasional drink. They're not a habitual refreshment. Okay. This is not something like again, watch my other videos like I'm cuckoo for Starbucks and I love Coca Cola.
Sometimes, I have them both in one day. Like, I'll be honest. I'm not perfect and that's okay. I just kinda keep in mind what I've been drinking and modify maybe what I'm eating throughout the rest of the day to compensate.
But then again I, I never try to you know, restrict myself to point where I'm suffering or frustrated.
So, anyways, as, if you do like having sugary drinks as a habitual refreshment. There are some alternatives you know, like I kinda said mocktails are the traditional substitute. There are some other drinks that you can make to satisfy yourself when you have a craving for a sugary beverage. Okay. So, that's one tip.
So, second one is keep sugary drinks out of the house. Like, do not stock your refrigerator with soda. Just make sure that access to them is not easy. If it will require you like going out on a trip somewhere. Just don't keep them in the house. Cause if they're in the house you're gonna drink them. I will drink them too.
So, three, as if you're craving something fizzy, I recommend as a Coca Cola lover, maybe going with some sparkling water, some flavored sparkling water. Or taking sparkling water and adding one of the 310 lemonades to your sparkling water.
There's a lot of other flavors. There's peach, there's berry, there's regular lemonade. So, you can just add a little bit more like a punch to your sparkling water that it would make it feel more akin to soda.
So, four, it's in general to drink more water. If water is boring for you. Again, you can add 310 lemonade to spice it up a bit. Maybe some fresh lemon to squeeze or two. Fruit infused water is becoming really popular. Toss some strawberries in there.
Whatever you know, pick your poison in terms of fruit. But you can definitely just spice up some plain water. And, also overall hydration is gonna help you.
I tried to drink, God. I don't even remember what, like how much I, 8 cups of water, I know they say but I probably drink like 3 to 4 liters. LIke, I don't know water fiend.
I grow up thinking water tasted bad but now I loved it. And if you're not someone that loves water, 310 lemonade or using some you know, accent to fruit is a great way to increase your water increase with full benefit your overall health.
Alright, so, was that four or five? Whatever. Let's just say it was five. Or let's say we're on to number five.
So, in lieu of drinking more water, carry a water bottle with you at all times which I do. I have so many water bottles. It's sad. It's all shapes and sizes.
So, that way when you're thirsty as suppose to pulling into your local 7-11 or gas station or Ralph’s, you're gonna start sipping on water. And ultimately you, in my experience, I've been less inclined to go walk into the store to potentially purchase a sugary drink.
Alright, so, six. Look at the type of juice that you are purchasing, okay. And then again, I mention that's the beginning of the video, juice is one of the culprits for beverages that have a lot of sugar and calories in them. That might seem benign and totally okay but they're not really fresh fruit juice.
So, aim for 100 percent fruit juice with no added sugar when you're buying fruit juice at the market.
To even, it will have some sugar content like I mention, all fruit like natural fruit has a sugar content. It's way different than an added sugar content. But nonetheless, if you're looking to sort of even dip down on that, you can take your fresh fruit juice or your 100 percent fruit juice and add some water to it just to dilute it a little bit.
So, seven. Forego flavored coffee beverages and opt for black coffee instead. Now another tip, if you're ordering coffee, immediately, again, if you've watched my other videos, a total Starbucks themed, you can choose a different type of milk other than like cold milk.
Maybe ask for almond milk, coconut milk and then when it comes sugar, try Stevia as opposed to other options and forego those extra pumps of vanilla and X,Y, Z cause those are really, really sugary and your calories will come and get you. It's this added flavor pumps.
So, yeah, ultimately like black coffee really the best suggestion I can't like, I can't stomach that. I'm someone with the sweet tooth so, I do Stevia and like half of pump of vanilla. I'm working on it but like I said it you know, kind of it beginning of these tips it's, we're all work in progress. And I would like to say progress is perfection. Perfection doesn't exist. But if you're making little changes, these little changes are gonna add up in the long term.
And then lastly, make your beverages at home so that you can control what you're putting in them. Coffee drinks especially, these slushies, just, iced tea, anything that you could make at home. I know it may require a little bit of extra effort but it can definitely pay off in your physique and overall health and well-being.
So, that covers some action items that you guys can do to reduce your overall sugar consumption. If you're ready. But, my friends said, alright, well, I'm not really didn't do that, but I'm, I'd like to do a little bit here and there.
So, like, how do I kind of just dip my toes in the water. I think that when I was about to save for dipping your toes in the water also applies to you on all kind of taking the full plunge.
But you can first just, overall, start by cutting back gradually and keeping your sugar intake to a minimum.
Just being a little more mindful of like what you're drinking in a day. Maybe, writing if down in a journal or doing a mental one. Just checking, just thought processing, being mindful.
Second, become a nutritional sleuth. I probably should've included this in the first one cause it's so, so, so important not just for drinks, just in general. So, become a nutritional sleuth and read nutrition labels and ingredient list carefully. Alright.
So, here's a few things that you should be always looking out for when you're reading nutritional labels. Drinks especially but it can apply to anything under the sun.
So, if a product has less than 0.5 grams of sugar per serving. Companies are able to list as zero on the label. So, make sure to know how may servings you are consuming, okay?
So, check on the nutritional panel what the serving size in one container. Like I just drink a Gatorade the other day. Another one of my guilty pleasures. I'm working on like the zero, like sugar Gatorade. Even though they have a bunch of artificial stuff but like I said, progress not perfection.
But, yeah, so, know how many servings you’re consuming. One container may be more than one serving which can double or triple that added number of sugars and calories that you are getting.
This is especially so with drinks as well as store bought sauces. So, let's say like a serving size might be one teaspoon. When you're really gonna end up using a lot more of that or drinking, eating a lot more of that.
Yeah, so, two or three or four. Why are you losing track? Does the number matter anymore? The more tips the merrier.
So, learn the ever names of sugar. This is the huge part of being a nutritional sleuth. Added sugars have lots of aliases, okay. They're like in the witness protection program. So, keep an eye out for more than just sugar on the label.
Some common caloric sweeteners include high fructose corn syrup, fruit juice concentrates, honey syrup, corn syrup, sucrose, dextrose, aspartame. Yeah, there's a ton of them. So just be mindful maybe educate yourself on what added sugars are, what they look like so when you do a read a nutrition label you're not like, whoa, why, I don't, I don't understand cause nutrition labels are tricky and a lot of companies are trying to trick you to be entirely honest.
Just one of the other things side note I love about 310 is that they're not trying to trick you. It's a really clean, honest company. What they say is in there is in there and thus it and only it.
Anyways, last but not the least. When you're ordering beverages out or picking out a soda, like again, you're not ready to just call it quits on your favorite Starbucks drink or your soda. Try ordering a smaller size just start with that.
I mean you ask for half the sugar content or switch out the milk you know. And you have to just go to black coffee or just ditch the soda entirely. Just little incremental changes until you feel ready to let go and move on which may take a lot of time.
And don't be hard on yourself. We all slip up I think every Mocktail Monday I have little anecdote about something I drink that week. I'm not perfect.
And I'm someone with this sweet tooth. You know, I make sure to take care of my body in other ways and took to compensate and to, if I am consuming caloric drinks be mindful of what I eat for the rest of the day. Or what my calories expenditure is for when I'm working out.
So, even if you do still enjoy your caloric sugary drinks just keep in mind what you drink for the rest of the day. And when the time is right for you to sort of really let go, you'll know and it will feel natural and comfortable. But mocktails are great way to help get yourself there.
Closing
So, in closing, I hope you enjoyed today's Mocktail Monday. As a whole, I think that you guys should definitely try it out 310 nutrition and their other products. All of them are super clean. A lot of them are keto-friendly. They don't do additives for sugar, coloring, just all honest ingredients.
And that's really gonna benefit you regardless of what type of health journey that you're on. Putting clean, pure things into your body will undoubtedly benefit you.
So, I know that usually I'm focusing on the lemonades and the collagen and some of the teas but 310 makes awesome keto-friendly protein powder that I highly recommend to anyone.
It works as a meal replacement. It also works just like a great after workout pick-me-up. But yeah, the bottom line is that 310 offers a lot of healthy products that I suggest you check out as well as well the blog where there are tons of recipes, mocktails, foodstuff that can sort of inspire you to eat a little bit more healthy.
But with that said, that is the end of today's Mocktail Monday. It's a little bit late in the afternoon here in LA but I'm still going to per usual take my mocktail outside and work on my tan.
So, cheers to you guys, and don't forget to tune in next Monday and I will see you then.
